I might be mistaken but I donât think you can set the password from the admin. Could you try setting the password with manage.py changepassword? I know the admin has a password field, but itâs the hashed password - so setting an actual password there doesnât work IIRC.
Then I get "NotAuthorizedException: Incorrect username or password." from AWS Cognito. If email/password were incorrect, then the first block of code would fail
